What we never ask for

If anything claiming to be ItsWipeTime asks for these, it's fake. Close it and tell us.

What signing in with Steam actually does

Steam uses OpenID 2.0, not OAuth. It has no permissions to grant — it only tells us "this person is user X". That's why Steam shows you no permission list: there is nothing to approve.

We cannot log into your account, see or trade your items, change your settings, or add friends. There is no Steam permission that would let us, and we never receive one.

You can also verify without signing in at all: we give you a code, you put it on your public Steam profile, we read it. No password involved anywhere.

What we store

From Steam:

SteamID, nickname, avatar, hours played in Rust, account creation date — all public profile data

From Discord:

user ID, username, whether you're in our server

From you:

email, username, password (hashed — we cannot read it)

About usage:

pages visited, IP address, browser, active sessions

We don't sell any of it and we don't run third-party ad or analytics trackers.

Unlinking and deleting

Unlink Steam:

Settings → Connections → Unlink

Unlink Discord:

Settings → Connections → Unlink

Delete account:

Settings → Delete account

Deleting removes your profile, email and connections. Reviews you left for other players stay, anonymised — otherwise anyone could erase their own bad reputation.
